West Hartford's Pet Parade, What You Need To Know
The second annual 'Pet Parade' on Saturday, May 20, will benefit Dog Star Rescue in Bloomfield.

WEST HARTFORD/BLOOMFIELD, CT — If your dog or other animal loves the spotlight, the second annual "Pet Parade" in West Hartford Saturday just might be the ticket for you and your friend.
On Saturday, May 20, Alyssa Caliendo, branch manager of Bay Equity Home Loans, 65 LaSalle Road, is coordinating the second annual "Pet Parade" to benefit Dog Star Rescue in Bloomfield.

Registration is a $25 donation. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of LaSalle and Arapahoe roads.
Prizes are awarded to "Best in Show," "Best Dressed," "Best Hair" and "Best Group Costume. "

Red carpet photos of your pet will be taken by Sonja Zinke.
Children can get their face painted too.
The pet parade will be held during the painting of the outdoor dining barriers.
"Come out to see amazing artists and adorable pets all in one location," reads an event announcement.
