West Hartford Turkey Drive Will Be A Fun, Family Affair
The annual event this weekend aims to provide a final push to give turkeys to Connecticut Foodshare before Thanksgiving.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town doesn't want you to show up at West Hartford Town Hall and act like a turkey.
But this Sunday, it wouldn't mind if you bring one.
The Town of West Hartford and The Miale Team real estate agency are hosting their third annual Turkey Drive to "come together to support Connecticut Foodshare and help local families in need this Thanksgiving."

It will take place on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St., West Hartford.
While the town is hosting the event, the West Hartford-based real estate agency is organizing it, something it has done, now, for three years.

"We’ll be collecting frozen turkey and monetary donations — every contribution helps ensure no family goes without a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season," wrote the town in an announcement on Thursday.
The event on Sunday, however, is more than just a turkey collection. It's a community celebration.
"Bring your family, friends, and clients for a fun-filled community day," wrote the town. "Expect family-friendly activities, sponsor booths, and local vendors bringing the festive spirit to life."
Ways to Participate: Drop off a frozen turkey or a monetary donation in person, or make an online donation here: https://donate.ctfoodshare.org/team/784013.
"No registration required, just show up, donate, and help us make a difference. Let’s make this our biggest year yet and finish strong for Connecticut Foodshare," wrote the town.
