EAST WINDSOR, CT — Crews searched the Connecticut River Sunday for a man who went in for a swim while intoxicated, NBC Connecticut reports. Authorities had earlier said that the man had jumped off a bridge but that turned out to be incorrect.
Police were called when witnesses lost sight of him but he was located on South Water Street around 6:30 p.m. and checked by EMS as a precaution.
