Windsor Locks: Serious Assault Reported By Railroad Tracks

Windsor Locks Police Department said in a facebook post that they were dispatched to 255 Main Street on May 5 for a reported assault.

Police said they were told an individual was carrying another person who appeared to be seriously injured.

After officers arrived at the scene, the victim was found lying on the sidewalk, police said. The victim was reported having been covered in blood and near unconsciousness. Medical treatment was provided immediately by police and ambulance personnel.

Police said two other males were with him, and they claimed to have been “jumped” by three other males while walking along the railroad tracks.

Investigation is ongoing, and police said to contact them with any information.
