10-Year-Old Boy Handcuffed By DC Police: Report
A mother reportedly is furious over the actions of D.C. police officers, who she says detained her 10-year-old son for no reason.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A mother is accusing D.C. police of detaining her 10-year-old son during a robbery investigation, even going so far as to handcuff him, according to a report.
WUSA 9 reports that police detained several children on Saturday after they were accused of assaulting and robbing another young boy in the 200 block of Massachusettes Avenue NE.
The victim reportedly was attacked by other juveniles who took his phone, and police responded by stopping several young boys in the area -- including Chaquitta Williams' 10-year-old son, who could be seen on video being handcuffed.

Williams told WUSA 9 that the incident "destroyed" her son, who she says was walking home from Union Station with her 14-year-old brother.
Her son was later released, and police arrested a 13-year-old in the group, according to the report.
