'1905 Bistro & Bar' To Close After 9 Years In Shaw
The popular neighborhood haunt 1905 Bistro & Bar is closing for good in two weeks, the owners announced Monday.
WASHINGTON, DC — The popular neighborhood joint 1905 Bistro & Bar is closing for good in two weeks after nine years in Shaw, the owners announced Monday. According to a release they issued, Nov. 9 will be the last night of dinner service to the general public.
"This community has embraced our little restaurant in ways we never could have imagined," the release said. "We couldn’t have been luckier to have opened during one of the D.C. dining community’s most impressive periods of expansion in recent history, sharing and growing with so many other incredible small, local businesses."
DC residents loved 1905's rooftop, lobster meatballs and friendly service.

1905 is located on the second floor of 1905 9th St. NW. Business will carry on as usual until Nov. 9, the owners said.
