4 Missing People Sought In D.C.: Metro Police

Editor's note: this article was updated with two more missing people as the information was received. Additionally, those who have been found have been removed from this article.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public's help in finding several people who have gone missing recently. While some of those missing have been found, others' whereabouts are still unknown.

Four of the missing people are teenage girls.

Haile Tesfamariam, 67, has been missing since around 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21. Police say he was last seen in the 500 block of Hobart Place NW. The incident was reported on Jan. 4. He's described as a black male with medium complexion,5-foot-5, 160 pounds with black and gray hair and brown eyes.

Angela Geddes, 46, has been missing since around 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31. Police say she was last seen in the 900 block of 26th Street NW, and the incident was reported on Jan. 3. She's described as a white female with a light complexion, 5-foot-8, 155 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue puffy coat.

Angel Nmachi Rockefeller, 16, has been missing since around 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2. Police say she was last seen in the 1600 block of Lyman Place NE. She's described as a black female, 5-foot-5, about 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Amayrani Mendoza, 14, has been missing since around 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3. Police say she was last seen in the 2600 block of 15th Street NW. She's described as a Hispanic female with a light complexion, 5-foot-2, about 120 pounds with straight, black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, navy blue sweater, blue jeans and brown boots.
