7 Startling Moments From Donald Trump's Interview With ABC

President Trump gave his first exclusive interview to ABC News.

President Trump's sit-down with ABC News' David Muir, his first major interview since he became the president, was classic Trump: meandering, boastful and, at times, startling.

Trump continues to defy traditional norms and decorum adhered to by past presidents. It's still unclear how that will translate to the most powerful job in the world, but it has made for some unconventional moments from America's new commander in chief.

Here were seven such moments from the special, which aired late Wednesday night.

On his applause after giving a speech at CIA headquarters

"I got a standing ovation," Trump said. "In fact, they said it was the biggest standing ovation since Peyton Manning had won the Super Bowl, and they said it was equal."

Trump would have won the popular vote, if that's how presidential races were decided

"I would've gone to a couple of places that I didn't go to," Trump said. "And I would've won that much easier than winning the Electoral College. But as you know, the Electoral College is all that matters. It doesn't make any difference. So, I would've won very, very easily."

'Millions' of people are voting twice

"You have people that are registered who are dead, who are illegals, who are in two states. You have people registered in two states," Trump said. "They're registered in a New York and a New Jersey. They vote twice. There are millions of votes, in my opinion."

...and none of the fraudulent votes were for him

"I will say this, of those votes cast, none of 'em come to me. None of 'em come to me," Trump said. "They would all be for the other side. None of 'em come to me. But when you look at the people that are registered: dead, illegal and two states and some cases maybe three states — we have a lot to look into."

...they were, specifically, for Hillary Clinton

"Those were Hillary votes. And if you look at it they all voted for Hillary. They all voted for Hillary. They didn't vote for me. I don't believe I got one. OK, these are people that voted for Hillary Clinton."

He's still worried about the inauguration crowd

"I've seen crowds before," Trump said. "Big, big crowds. That was some crowd. When I looked at the numbers that happened to come in from all of the various sources, we had the biggest audience in the history of inaugural speeches."

Chicago police shouldn't be so 'politically correct'

"Now if they want help, I would love to help them," Trump said. "I will send in what we have to send in. Maybe they're not gonna have to be so politically correct. Maybe they're being overly political correct. Maybe there's something going on."
