Armed Man Flees After Crashing Into DC Cop Car: Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for an armed man who led officers on a chase and crashed into a DC police car Tuesday morning in Southeast Washington, according to reports.

ABC 7 reports the man led police on a chase starting in Prince George's County and ending in the 4900 block of Wheeler Rd. SE.

The unknown man allegedly crashed his black Kia into multiple cars before he lost control and flipped his car. He ultimately fled the scene, police said.

Police are searching for the suspect with K9 units and a helicopter, ABC 7 reports.
