Christmas Tree Placed On Curb In DC ... 247 Days Late
It's not often you see a Christmas tree left on the curb in August.

WASHINGTON, DC — People often procrastinate in getting rid of Christmas trees, but this tree dumped on a D.C. curb recently may take the cake.
The Council of D.C.'s official Twitter account tweeted a photo of the thoroughly brown tree left at the intersection of 18th and U streets.
"247 days after Christmas, someone finally kicked their Christmas tree out of their house and to the curb," they wrote.

Hey @popville: 247 days after Christmas, someone finally kicked their Christmas tree out of their house and to the curb. This must be in your top ten latest, right?(Location: 18th and U) pic.twitter.com/KXex0RK1i0

Surprisingly, it's not the only one. PoPville documented a few reports of trees dropped on D.C. sidewalks earlier this month.
