D.C. Man Arrested In Double Homicide: Police

A D.C. man wanted in a murder that left two dead in Suitland, Md.​ has been arrested, police said.

SUITLAND, MD — A Northwest Washington man wanted in a double homicide in Suitland this July has been arrested, Prince George's County police announced Monday.

Robert Suesbury, of the 1600 block of Euclid Street in Northwest Washington, was arrested on first- and second-degree murder charges. A second suspect—Jharrod Armstrong, 19, of Northwest Washington—was arrested in July.

At about 7:20 p.m. July 9, officers responded to the 4600 block of Silver Hill Rd. in Suitland for the report of a shooting. The shooting occurred in an alleyway between two businesses and killed Courtney Simms, 22, of Temple Hills and Anthony Douglas, 23, of Marlow Heights.

Three suspects are seen on surveillance video below getting out of a car and then walking out of the screen toward the victims, police said. After the shooting, one of the suspects is seen running back to the car. Preliminarily, detectives believe the suspects intended to rob the victims.
