Dangerous Heat: Timeline to Feels Like 103 Degrees, Washington DC Weather Forecast
No storms in site, but Friday afternoon temperatures will feel like more than 100 all afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

It has been a perfect week of weather across the region, and there are clear skies through the weekend forecast. But, we'll have a very hot and humid Friday, according to the latest from the National Weather Service.
The heat index, or "feels like" temperature will head past 100 degrees Friday afternoon. It'll be the last blast of dangerous temps, at least for the next week, as we settle into a pattern of temperatures in the high 80s to 90 degrees.

11 a.m.: 97 degrees
noon: 100 degrees

6 p.m.: 101 degrees
7 p.m.: 99 degrees
8 p.m.: 96 degrees

Heat tips include:
- Rescheduling strenuous activity to early morning or evening
- Knowing the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke
- Wearing light and loose fitting clothing
- Drinking plenty of water
Those working outside should take frequent breaks in the shade or in an air-conditioned environment. "Heat stroke is an emergency - call 911," the weather service warns.
The major weather story this weekend is a developing storm system in the Caribbean that may impact Florida and other Gulf Coast states.

Friday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as 103. Northwest wind around 8 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 93. East wind around 8 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 90. East wind around 6 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92.
