DC Man Charged In Fatal Hit-And-Run: Report
The man is accused of hitting two pedestrians in Northeast D.C. last summer, killing one.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Police have arrested a man accused of striking two pedestrians with his vehicle in Northeast D.C. last summer, killing one of them, and then fleeing the scene, according to a report.
The Washington Post reports that police arrested 20-year-old Markel Ford of D.C. on a charge of involuntary manslaughter.
The arrest is connected to an incident on Aug. 30 at around 3:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue NE, when two pedestrians who were in a crosswalk were struck, resulting in the death of 51-year-old Sherron Pressley of D.C, according to the report. The driver than fled the scene, police say.
