DC Firefighters Rescue Person Stuck In The Mud

WASHINGTON, DC -- D.C. Fire and EMS had to come to the rescue of a person who got stuck in the mud at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.

Firefighters were called to the 1500 block of Anacostia Avenue NE for an "unusual rescue," D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 9:58 a.m. on Saturday.

"Victim is in a marshy area and needs assistant in getting to solid ground," they tweeted. "Individual not injured."
