DC Police Cruiser With Sirens On Struck By Car: Report
A police cruiser with its sirens on reportedly was broadsided in an intersection in D.C.
WASHINGTON, DC — A Metropolitan Police Department cruiser with emergency lights activated was struck by a car as it drove through an intersection on U Street early Friday morning (video embedded below).
The video, posted by Twitter user Kyle Wellner, shows one car with sirens activated making it through the intersection and then the second cruiser broadsided by a car in the middle of the intresection.
ABC 7's Sam Sweeney reported that police were responding to a shooting.

MPD said that the collision happened in the 800 block of Florida Avenue NW at around 12:26 a.m. "The officer involved was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries," a spokesperson said. "There were no additional injuries reported on scene."
