Filipino Sports Bar Opening In Adams Morgan: Report
The Game Sports Pub opens Feb. 7 in the neighborhood, replacing Ventnor Sports Cafe.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A new sports bar is opening up soon in Adams Morgan, and this one will have a twist: instead of just the typical pub food, it will also serve Filipino dishes and cocktails, according to a report.
The Washingtonian reports that The Game Sports Pub opens Feb. 7 and it will offer Southeast Asian cuisine along with 22 screens and some traditional bar food like nachos and wings.
The bar takes over the space formerly occupied by Ventnor Sports Cafe, which closed late last year.

The restaurant is the brainchild of Jo-Jo Valenzuela and Oscar Guardado, who have been part of successful bars in the D.C. area like Jack Rose, Brine, and Rosebar Lounge, according to the report.
Some traditional Filipino dishes you can get there include sisig and pares.

The restaurant will be located at 2411 18th Street NW.
