Firefighters Battle Blaze At Embassy Of Ecuador In Northwest D.C.
D.C. firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze at the Embassy of Ecuador, sending two firefighters to the hospital.

WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze at the Embassy of Ecuador early Wednesday morning, sending two firefighters to the hospital.
Officials said the fire broke out on the roof at around 12:22 a.m. Firefighters used "aggressive" interior work to distinguish the fire.
Two firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. About 20 firefighters responded to the scene, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
