Former Virginia Governor's Car Stolen In DC
Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said he had his car stolen in D.C., but it was quickly recovered.

WASHINGTON, DC — Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) thanked D.C. police Monday after his car was stolen in the District and then quickly recovered.
McAuliffe, who served as the 72nd Governor of Virginia from 2014 to 2018 and also chaired the Democratic National Committee from 2001 to 2005, tweeted Monday evening that he went in for lunch and "came out and car was stolen."
He said D.C. police "immediately" recovered the car.

The Hill reports that authorities found his Ford Expedition unoccupied on K Street NW, about a half mile from where he was on 6th Street NW.
Thank you to the DC Police. Quite a day. Went in for lunch...came out and car was stolen. @DCPoliceDept was right on it. Car recovered immediately. Thank you for a job well done.
