WASHINGTON, DC -- Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to Dupont Circle, apparently.

The fowl invasion continues in the District. DCist reports that a chicken -- which they described as "drop dead gorgeous" -- has been seen wandering around Dupont Circle.

The report comes in the wake of numerous sightings of turkeys wandering city streets in the area.
