Heat Wave Returns This Week: Washington DC Weather Forecast
Hermine helped keep temperatures mild, but the storm's exit later this week will usher in a new heat wave.

WASHINGTON, DC — The remains of Hermine are still lingering off the Northeast coast, but local impacts appear over and we're in for a stretch of clear skies. Unfortunately, uncomfortably humid temperatures are headed back into the forecast.
We had a nice break from the summer heat — lows Monday night should head below 70 degrees — even if the cool down came with a storm threat.
Temperatures started climbing Monday, and will keep climbing into the 90s, according to the National Weather Service.
