The president tweeted out his summer playlist, featuring Jay Z, Chance the Rapper and Prince.

Obama on Thursday — in the middle of his scheduled two-week vacation in Martha's Vineyard — told the world what he was listening to with a tweet. The 55-year-old commander in chief has two summer playlists: one for daytime and one for nighttime.

Pop star Sara Bareilles is no stranger to praise from the Obamas. First Lady Michelle Obama walked out to Bareilles's hit "Brave" before her speech to the Democratic National Convention last month.

"I have unending respect for the grace and dignity with which Michelle Obama carries herself and has since entering the White House," she told the New York Daily News after the song played.

Another notable inclusion was Prince's "U Got The Look."

After Prince died earlier this year, Obama released a statement about the rock icon, saying, "Few artists have influenced the sound and trajectory of popular music more distinctly, or touched quite so many people with their talent. As one of the most gifted and prolific musicians of our time, Prince did it all. Funk. R&B. Rock and roll. He was a virtuoso instrumentalist, a brilliant bandleader, and an electrifying performer."
