Homeless Man Sexually Assaults Victims In Abandoned Building: Police
A homeless man has been arrested for two sexual assaults that both occurred in an abandoned building in Northeast, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — A homeless man was arrested for two sexual assaults that both occurred in an abandoned building in Northeast Washington, police said. Charles Stotts, 29, of no fixed address, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse while armed.
Both incidents occurred in an abandoned dwelling in the 1100 block of 51st St. NE, police said. The first victim was assaulted at about 8 a.m. June 15 and was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries
The second victim was sexually assaulted at about 6:18 a.m. June 28, police said. Stotts allegedly invited the victim inside the building, where he brandished a knife and committed the crime. Police said the victim managed to escape and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Stotts was arrested pursuant to a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, police said.
