Ice Cream Truck Erupts In Flames On National Mall (Video)
An ice cream truck caught fire near the Washington Monument.

WASHINGTON, DC -- An ice cream truck caught fire while parked near the Washington Monument on Monday (video embedded below).
Firefighters had trouble getting in position to battle the flames because another food truck was blocking the nearest available fire hydrant, D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at around 1 p.m.
They put the fire out, but not before it caused significant damage to the truck.
