Injured Worker Rescued From DC High-Rise (Video)
D.C. Fire and EMS rescued an injured worker from the upper floor of a high-rise in D.C. on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Rescue crews were called into action after an injured worker was stuck on the upper floor of a high-rise in D.C. on Wednesday.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 1:47 p.m. that they were responding to the 500 block of E Street SW to a report of an injured worker on the upper floor of a high-rise under construction.
Using a crane and stokes basket, they were able to slowly and carefully lower the worker to the ground. He had injuries that were not life-threatening.

Officials believe he feel from the 12th to the 11th floor.
