Man Arrested Near White House With 9 Guns, Knives In His Car: Secret Service
A man arrested near the White House had nine guns, three knives, brass knuckles, suppressors and ammunition in his car, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — A man was arrested near the White House Sunday with a slew of weapons in his car after he was caught urinating in public, according to reports.
U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division officers were approached by the man as he allegedly relieved himself at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 17th Street around 7 a.m., according to a statement.
"The encounter with the individual resulted in Secret Service Officers taking investigative action," the Secret Service statement said.

The unidentified man told officers he was on his way to the White House to speak with Defense Secretary James Mattis and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, WTOP reports. The man allegedly said he wanted "advice on missing paychecks and how to get the chip out of my head."
Officers located the man's 2009 Silver Nissan in the area. The man consented to a search and police recovered nine guns, three knives, brass knuckles, suppressors and ammunition, police said.

Police brought the man to a D.C. facility for "mental observation." He was later charged with possession of several firearms at a police station, according to the Secret Service statement.
