Man Fatally Shot In Northeast: Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man in Northeast Washington early Wednesday morning.

Elijah Henry, of Northeast, was killed at about 2:52 a.m. in the 1800 block of Bryant St. NE.

Arriving officers located Henry inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. Police pronounced him dead on the scene.

Police are offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who provides information which leads to the conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
