Man Forces Woman Into Car, Sexually Assaults Her: Police
Police are searching for a man they say attacked and sexually assaulted a woman walking in Southeast Washington.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for a man they say attacked and sexually assaulted a woman walking in Southeast Washington this weekend.
The woman was walking in the 1700 block of Fairlawn Ave. SE. at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday when she was approached by the unknown man. The man assaulted her and ordered her to get into his car, police said.
The man sexually assaulted the woman inside his car, police told Patch. The woman was able to eventually escape the car and fled the scene, while the man drove off.

Police describe the suspect as a 35-38 year old black male with a thick build. He is 5’6” to 5’9” with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black sweater and gold chains around his neck, police said.
The man was driving a white compact four door vehicle.

A $1,000 reward is offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.
