Man Jumps On Tracks, Hit By Train At L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station: Police
A man intentionally jumped in front of a metro train and was hit at the L'Enfant Plaza station in Southwest Washington Friday morning.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man intentionally jumped in front of a metro train and was hit at the L'Enfant Plaza station in Southwest Washington Friday morning, Metro Transit Police said.
Police report that an adult male intentionally jumped from the platform into the path of an arriving Blue train at about 9:18 a.m.
The man is alive and was removed from the tracks by emergency personnel.

Train service is stopped on both tracks on the Blue, Orange and Silver lines, police said.
