Man Struck By Metro Train At Benning Road Station
BREAKING NEWS: Metro riders, expect delays Wednesday night.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man was struck by a Metro train at the Benning Road station Wednesday night, officials said. Metro riders should expect delays.
Firefighters responded to the Metro station at 4500 Benning Rd. at about 8:30 p.m.
The man was safely extricated and is being transported to the hospital with relatively minor injuries, DC Fire and EMS said.

According to Rail Transit OPS Group, select Blue trains may offload at Stadium Armory and will board via the Largo platform. Silver Line service is operating from Wiehle-Reston East to Clarendon.
Metro Minder says Silver Line trains are running about 15 minutes late at Largo Town Center and Wiehle-Reston East.
