Nats Park Getting Massive Restaurant, Entertainment Venue: Report
A 35,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue reportedly is opening at Nationals Park at some point.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Something big is coming to Nationals Park, although it's not quite clear exactly what.
The Washington Business Journal reports that the Nationals are building a 35,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue at Nats Park, which was approved by D.C.'s sports and conventions authority.
The venue will operate year-round and will include a restaurant, bar, a lounge area, a screen wall, and a rooftop terrace.

What exactly it is is unclear, but WBJ notes that Monumental Sports & Entertainment underwent a similar project at Capitol One Arena that turned out to be a sportsbook -- with D.C. Council legalizing sports betting in December, it stands to reason that Nats Park could be doing the same.
Nationals owner Mark Lerner told WTOP that a sportsbook was under consideration, but said little beyond that.
