NBA Player Attacked While Wearing Redskins Jersey: Report
The Sixers' Mike Scott, who was wearing a Redskins jersey, reportedly got into a fight before the Eagles game on Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles fans don't much care for Washington Redskins fans -- even when that person is a member of the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers' Mike Scott reportedly was attacked while wearing a Redskins jersey outside the stadium before the game on Sunday.
Scott is actually a fan favorite in Philly, but apparently that's only when he's on the basketball court. When he was in attendance at the Eagles vs. Redskins season opener -- which the Skins lost 32-27 -- he became involved in a brawl with several rowdy fans.
It's not clear exactly what precipitated the fight. A brief video circulated social media showing a scene from the incident, during which multiple individuals dressed in green fall short in the confrontation.

"We are aware of the situation and are in the process of gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this time."
No charges have been filed. The Sixers resigned Scott, a power forward, to a two-year, $9.8 million deal back in June.
