New Pro Sports Team Coming To DC: Report
Old Glory DC, a pro rugby team, will join the newly formed Major League Rugby.

WASHINGTON, DC -- D.C. is about to get a new professional sports team -- this time, however, it's a rugby team.
Old Glory D.C. Rugby Club will be the newest addition to Major League Rugby, which launched in 2018 with teams in Glendale, Colo.; Seattle; San Diego, Salt Lake City; Austin; New Orleans; and Houston, according to a Washington Post report.
For the 2019 season, Old Glory will host skills combines and tryouts, along with some exhibition matches, before playing a regular season in 2020. Boston and Atlanta will join the league the same year, and Toronto and New York will kick off inaugural seasons in 2019.

Each team in the league plays 16 games from January through May.
Old Glory likely would play in some sort of local college stadium, although the team hopes to get its own stadium a few seasons from now.
