Centreville Road was reopened to traffic after an overturned tractor trailer forced a temporary closure of southbound lanes on Tuesday.

CENTREVILLE, VA — Fairfax County Police reopened all lanes of Centreville Road to traffic, after an overturned tractor trailer forced the temporary closure of southbound lanes for a short period of time on Tuesday, according to a post on the department's official Twitter account.
Fairfax County Fire & Rescue units were on the scene of an overturned tractor trailer near Centreville Elementary School, according to a 10:56 a.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.

The driver of the overturned vehicle at Centreville Road/Old Mill Road was not entrapped, according to the post. The driver did suffer minor injuries.
Southbound lanes of Centreville have been closed and the public is warned to avoid the area.

A Virginia Department of Transportation traffic camera showed Fairfax County Police diverting southbound traffic on Centreville Road at Machen Road to the north.
