Person Struck, Killed By Amtrak Train In DC

WASHINGTON, DC — An unidentified person was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in DC Saturday night, according to reports.

ABC 7 reports the incident occurred on Track number 2 in the 3600 block of New York Ave., near the Maryland State Line, at about 9:50 p.m.

The person was pronounced dead on the scene.
