Photos From The 2019 DC Blossom Kite Festival

WASHINGTON, DC -- It was quite a scene on the National Mall on Saturday, as countless kites filled the sky around the Washington Monument during the 2019 D.C. Blossom Kite Festival.

The Yoshino cherry blossoms were just about in full bloom for the event, with gorgeous pink blossoms dotting the landscape on a sunny and beautiful afternoon.

Lots of interesting kites could be seen flying high above the National Mall, as families packed the area to take in the sights. Patch was on hand to snap some photos of the festivities, which you can view in the slideshow above.
