Snow Squall Surprises DC Area Residents Wednesday (Video)
A brief but intense "snowstorm" hit Northern Virginia and D.C. on Wednesday, resulting in some amazing videos.

You might call it an appetizer to the snow we're expecting this weekend. A quiet workday on Wednesday in Northern Virginia and D.C. was suddenly interrupted by a brief but quite intense snow squall, which was captured in numerous videos posted on social media.
The snow started northwest of the area at around 4 p.m. and headed southeast, rolling through Arlington, D.C., and even Prince George's County on the Maryland side.
It only lasted about 20 minutes, but it made an impression.
