Spy Museum Gets New Opening Date: Report

A date reportedly have been revealed for the Spy Museum's reopening.

WASHINGTON, DC -- The Spy Museum will reopen at its new location on May 11, according to a report.

The Washington Business Journal reports that the museum is in the process of moving some of its existing exhibits from the current home at 800 F Street NW to its new location at 700 L'Enfant Plaza in Southwest D.C. The museum was closed Jan. 1 for the move.

The new museum will feature many artifacts and subjects that weren't featured at the old museum, the report states, including an exhibit on East Berlin that includes a piece of the Berlin Wall.

The new museum will be a major upgrade in terms of space, increasing square footage from 19,000 to 32,000. It will also feature a rooftop terrace.
