Suspect Flashes Kids, Follows Them To Elementary School: Police

A man was arrested for flashing himself to a group of kids and then following them to a nearby elementary school in Southwest, police said.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A D.C. man was arrested for exposing himself to a group of children and following them to a nearby elementary school in Southwest Washington, police said.

The incident occurred between 8-9 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of I St. SW. The suspect—identified as Olah Morgan, 20, of Southwest—allegedly approached the kids, "uttered lewd comments and exposed his genitalia," police said. He then followed them to a nearby school.

There are three schools in the surrounding area — Appletree Early Learning PCS, Amidon-Bowen Elementary School and Jefferson Middle School. The area is near the D.C. Wharf.

Police arrested Morgan on Tuesday and charged him with Indecent Exposure, Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse of a Child, Simple Assault, and Lewd, Indecent, Or Obscene Acts.
