Suspect Jumps Barrier Along White House Fence, In Custody: U.S. Secret Service
A person is in custody after they jumped a concrete barrier along the White House fence Tuesday morning, authorities report.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — An unidentified person is in custody after they jumped a concrete barrier along the White House fence Tuesday morning, authorities report.
The Secret Service said the person jumped over a concrete barrier along E Street at about 9:30 a.m. Officials also investigated a suspicious package in the area, which was cleared by Metropolitan Police.
The White House south fence line was closed for a period of time during the investigation, and it is now reopened.
