WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for four would-be thieves who drove a stolen U-Haul truck into an ATM in an attempted burglary at Nationals Park early Friday morning.
Police responded to Half Street and N Street at about 4:30 a.m. Friday. Officers believe the four suspects stole a U-Haul truck and used it to crash into a PNC ATM near the ticket booths at Nationals Park.
The suspects abandoned the truck when stadium security confronted them and an alarm went off, police said. The men jumped into another truck, but police do not know what it looked like.
