Tourists Groped At U.S. Capitol: Reports

WASHINGTON, DC — Two 18-year-olds were allegedly groped by a man while touring the U.S. Capitol, according to reports.

NBC Washington says the tourists were at the visitor’s center on Nov. 22 when they noticed a man taking photos of them. The man then allegedly grabbed them inappropriately, police said.

The women told a Capitol police officer who was on patrol in the area about the incident.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man and charged him with misdemeanor sex abuse, NBC Washington reports.
