Vehicle In The River In SE DC, Rescuers Respond
Rescuers did not find anyone in the vehicle and are turning the scene over to law enforcement.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Authorities are on the scene after a vehicle was discovered in the Anacostia River beneath I-695 Tuesday morning.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 9:08 a.m. that they were responding to the 1900 block of Anacostia Drive SE, and had swimmers looking for victims.
They did not find any victims in the vehicle, and will be turning over the scene to law enforcement.
