Vehicle Rolls Over Near Lincoln Memorial (Photo)
A vehicle rolled over near the Lincoln Memorial on Thursday afternoon.
WASHINGTON, DC — Rescuers treated one patient in a vehicle that rolled over near the Lincoln Memorial at around rush hour late Thursday afternoon.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted that they were responding to a "crash with rollover Rock Creek Parkway NW vicinity Ohio Drive rear of Lincoln Memorial." They said there was no entrapment and they were assessing one patient.
A Twitter user posted a photo that appears to show the scene of the accident, with an SUV on its side on the grass near the shore of the Potomac River.
