Victim Identified In Fatal Domestic Stabbing: D.C. Police
Paula Renee Coles, 31, of Southeast was found stabbed to death inside a D.C. home after police responded to a call for an assault.

WASHINGTON, DC — A woman was found stabbed to death inside a Southeast Washington home after police responded to a call for an assault Wednesday morning, police said.
Police responded to an assault in progress in the 3000 block of 30th St. SE at about 9:48 a.m. Officers located an adult female suffering from multiple stab wounds from a domestic incident inside the residence. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as Paula Renee Coles, 31, of Southeast.

The suspect is described by police as a heavy-set black male with a light complexion. He is about 35 years old, is bald and has a hairy chest, police said. He was last seen wearing black shorts in the 30th St. alley.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099.
