Washington D.C. Weather Forecast: Cool Fall Air Sticking Around, Rain Chance by Thanksgiving

WASHINGTON, DC -- The fire threat in S.C. will continue into Monday, but conditions will improve quickly and we could see rain by Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service. The week starts very cool and temperatures will climb a little as the week goes on.
Winds will slowly decrease beginning Sunday night, but will continue into Tuesday. Gusts Sunday night will reach up to 46 mph, and Monday gusts will reach 37 mph.
The high Monday will be 46 degrees, and 49 degrees on Tuesday, while overnight lows will be just below freezing both nights.

We'll hit 52 degrees on Wednesday with mostly sunny skies, and a chance of showers enters the forecast Wednesday night, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
The Thanksgiving forecast is a 40 percent chance of rain, with a high temperature near 56 degrees.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 46. Breezy, with a west wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.
Thanksgiving Day: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 56. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday: ostly sunny, with a high near 55.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.
