Washington DC Weather Forecast: Rain and Sleet, Much Colder, Snow Chance Next Weekend
Suburbs far west of the district could see snow by Tuesday. Here's the forecast:

WASHINGTON, D.C. — We'll start the week with rain Monday and Tuesday, with sleet mixed in and maybe even a little snow for suburbs far west of the district. It'll clear before the weekend, but we'll eventually see some of the coldest temperatures so far this season — and chances for snow in the city.
Sunday night will bring rain, possibly mixed with sleet west of the district, before becoming all rain after 1 a.m. Little or no sleet accumulation is expected.
Monday begins with rain, but clears through the day as high temperatures reach 54 — the highest temps we'll see this week.
