Washington DC's Top Ride-Hailing Stops Recognized in Lyftie Awards
Union Station is the nation's top transit stop, according to the ride-hailing service's look back at 2016 trips.

WASHINGTON, DC — With the Metro mess that shaped local 2016 travel, it's no surprise that more D.C. riders found their transportation online and through ride-hailing apps. Looking back on the year in local trips, Lyft released its list of the top destinations, presenting the 2016 Lyftie Awards.
Across the nation, the top transit stop was right here in the district: Union Station's role as a hub for local and national travel makes it easy to understand the honor.
They didn't top the national rankings, but there were five other D.C. stops recognized as top local destinations:
