Week's Weather in D.C.: Rain, Bonnie's Impact Still Unknown

Chance for storms for most of the week, with pockets of sunshine. Here's the latest forecast, including the latest tracking on Bonnie.

It's the "keep the umbrella in the car" part of the spring season, as the chance of showers and storms creeps into nearly every day of the forecast.

We'll have patchy fog to start off the short workweek, with temperatures near 86 degrees, and only a slight chance of showers Tuesday.

There's a chance for showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, a break in the clouds on Thursday, and then another round for an unsettled forecast for the weekend.

The best chance for storms is currently Friday.

The region still may see impacts from Bonnie later this week. Heavy rains continue to be the major threat of the storm system, now considered post-tropical. Bonnie will move over the Carolinas over the next few days, and still may impact our area.
