Woman Sexually Assaulted During Armed Robbery In Northeast
Police are searching for a man who allegedly forced a woman into an alley, where he robbed and sexually assaulted her, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman during an armed robbery near Gallaudet University in Northeast Washington Saturday morning.
Police said the assault occurred at about 6:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Penn St. NE. The man allegedly displayed a handgun and forced the woman into an alley, where he then robbed and sexually assaulted her, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a short, black male in his late thirties with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and was armed with a handgun, police said.
