Cookies laced with fentanyl taped to person's front door.

Plastic bag containing cookies taped to man's front door test positive for fentanyl.

Fort Myers, Fl; A Fort Myers man reportedly opened his front door and saw a plastic ziploc bag with three cookies taped by a woman neighbor, reportedly Donna Petito of Fort Myers, to the door's exterior. Police were called to the scene on suspicion of possible drugs in the cookies. The cookies tested positive for fentanyl. The suspect, Donna Petito, was last seen fleeing the scene in a black Nissan.

The lethal dose of fentanyl is about the size of the sharpened tip of a pencil. The cookies were found to have contained enough fentanyl to fill the exterior chamber of a pen, enough to kill more than 500 people.
